Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using PaintRover (“the app”) you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. The service

PaintRover is a tool for painting contractors to scan rooms with LiDAR, calculate paint estimates, manage customers, and produce quote PDFs. It is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Aldinworks (“we”) may change, update, or discontinue features at any time.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You agree not to share access with anyone outside your business. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use PaintRover for any unlawful purpose.
Upload content that infringes another party's rights.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app.
Use the service to harass, deceive, or defraud anyone (including the customers whose info you store).

4. Your customers' data

You may enter customer information (names, contact details, addresses) into PaintRover for the purpose of creating quotes for them. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store and use that information, including any consent required by applicable privacy law in your jurisdiction.

5. Estimates are estimates

Paint quantity, labor hours, and price calculations are estimates based on the dimensions you capture and the rates you configure. They are not warranties. You are responsible for the accuracy of the final quote you provide to your customer.

6. Subscription & billing

PaintRover may offer paid subscription tiers. When a paid subscription is active, billing is handled by Apple via In-App Purchase. Refunds are handled per Apple's policies. Auto-renewal can be managed in your Apple ID settings.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aldinworks is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of PaintRover. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using PaintRover at any time and request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may terminate your access for material violation of these Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

10. Changes

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms are posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of PaintRover after a change is acceptance of the new Terms.
