Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PaintRover (“we”, “us”, “the app”) collects, uses, and protects your data. PaintRover is a tool for painting contractors to scan rooms, generate quotes, and track customers. It is operated by Aldinworks (the “Company”).

1. Information you provide

When you create an account or use PaintRover you may provide:

Email address — for account sign-in and account recovery.
Company profile — your business name, contact info, logo image, and pricing rates.
Customer records — names, addresses, phone numbers, and emails for your own customers. You enter these to attach to quotes.
Room scans — 3D measurement data and optional reference photos captured by your device's camera and LiDAR sensor.
Quotes — wall selections, line items, notes, and PDF exports generated from your scans.

2. How we use the data

App functionality. All data is used only to provide PaintRover's features to you: generating quotes, syncing across your devices, calculating reports.
Cloud sync. If you sign in, your profile, customers, projects, scans, and exports are synced to your private workspace on Supabase, our database provider. You can use the app offline; it works without sync.
Logo storage. If you upload a company logo it is stored in your private folder in Supabase Storage.

3. What we do NOT do

We do not sell or rent your data.
We do not share your data with advertising networks.
We do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not use your customer records for any purpose other than letting you attach them to quotes.

4. Camera and LiDAR

PaintRover uses your device's camera and LiDAR sensor only while you are actively scanning a room. The captured 3D mesh and dimensions are saved as part of the quote. We do not stream camera images to any server during scanning.

5. Photos

When you upload a company logo, the image is read from your photo library, copied into the app's local cache, and uploaded to your private Supabase Storage folder. We do not read other photos from your library.

6. Data storage and security

Cloud data is stored with Supabase (supabase.com). Each row is protected by row-level security, meaning only you (signed in as your account) can read or modify your data. Locally on your device, data is stored in an app-private SQLite database (Drift) plus iOS-encrypted preferences.

7. Account deletion

To delete your account and all associated data — profile, customers, projects, scans, exports, and stored logo — email support@aldinworks.com from the address used to sign up. We will permanently delete your data within 7 business days and confirm by reply.

8. Children

PaintRover is a business tool intended for contractors. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

If we update this Policy we will post the new version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of PaintRover after a change constitutes acceptance.
